Job summary

Aylesbury High School is looking for a full-time Geography Teacher for maternity cover, starting from February 2026. The ideal candidate will have a good honours degree in Geography, Qualified Teacher Status, and a commitment to inspiring students. Responsibilities include creating engaging lessons, acting as a form tutor, and participating in co-curricular activities. About us

We seek a full time classroom teacher with a genuine interest in teaching Geography, who is able to engage our highly motivated students. The post would suit an Early Careers Teacher or one with more experience.

Above all, we are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner to inspire our students by teaching with expertise and enthusiasm. The successful applicant will almost certainly act as a form tutor.
