# General Practice Nurse - Bank## Job IntroductionSalary: £23:01 Per hour Location: Sefton Practices (Litherland, Maghull, Seaforth, Netherton, Crosby, Bootle & Thornton) Contract: BankShifts: Available between 8:00 – 18:30 Monday to FridayWhat will you be doing* Providing specialist knowledge and skills in general practice nursing.* Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care ensuring clear channels of communication exist between clinical, administration and community teams.* Supervise and mentor the general practice nursing team and provide an effective learning environment for staff and students in the wider team.* Provide assessment, treatment, screening and health education services and advice in accordance with set protocols, guidelines and NMC Code of conduct.* Ensure accurate, comprehensive records of all consultations and treatments are documented.* Follow infection control policies and keep up to date with policies.* Responsible for treatment rooms supplies and equipment.* Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe, free from hazards and conform to health, safety and security legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines.What do I need* NMC registered with a minimum of 2 years qualified experience.* NMC mentorship Qualification.* Experience in a GP practice, primary care or community setting.* Experience of clinical leadership.* Experience in cervical cytology and immunisations* Educated to degree level or equivalent.* Training certificates in BSL, Infection Control, Information Governance, Safeguarding adults and children level 3.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Resilience* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Primary Care 24 (PC24) is a not-for-profit social enterprise established in 1990, delivering NHS contracts exclusively.
