Job description
Overview

We are seeking a General Manager for “The Lost Blonde” – a new play by Little Dude Media Ltd, an ITC member company. The Lost Blonde, written/produced by Ian Beaumont, is a play about the life and career of Veronica Lake, the 1940s Hollywood film icon and “peek-a-boo blonde.”

Our aim is to tour the play regionally across the UK, ideally in the second half of 2026, before bringing it back to a leading London theatre venue in 2027. The play already has a strong creative and producing team in place; and several regional theatres are informally attached to stage it next year. In summary, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a bold, character-driven production with real commercial and artistic potential.

Requirements
  • Experience as General Manager (or running a small GM company) with a passion for new writing and experience in managing UK touring theatre productions.
  • Willingness to be paid according to ITC rates and based on experience.
  • Interest in regional touring across the UK in 2026 and future London venue engagements.
  • Ability to work with an established creative/producing team and collaborate with regional theatres attached to the production.
How to apply

If you’re interested in being attached as our play’s GM or know someone who might be, please contact Marion at thelostblonde.ldf@gmail.com, attaching your CV or a short introduction.
