The GM for EU Established Brands will be responsible for all aspects of promotion for a portfolio of later‑stage and earlier‑stage assets across multiple markets in Europe and the UK, on behalf of a customer. The GM will lead a team of Sales, Marketing, Therapeutic Category, and Operations personnel to drive sales performance and allocate promotional investments to maximize the value of the contractual relationship.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the Established Brands team and manage the broader delivery team to maximize performance against product revenue and margin forecasts.
  • Manage the P&L associated with the program and be responsible for the financial performance of the customer relationship.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and senior leadership at Syneos Health.
  • Maintain compliance with the customer’s policies and procedures.
  • Participate in program governance, lead periodic joint steering meetings, and provide management reporting.
  • Anticipate client or program needs, collaborate to develop solutions, and lead cross‑functional meetings on program status, performance, major milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Ensure commercial execution activities and deliverables are completed with high quality, on time, and on budget.
  • Proactively assess and reallocate promotional investments to maximize performance.
  • Apply operational experience to ensure consistent quality and successful execution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide direction for work delegated to additional vendor partners outside of Syneos to ensure timely, quality deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver senior leadership presentations and training as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred with 15+ years of related work experience.
  • At least 10 years in senior commercial roles spanning multiple functional areas in European markets.
  • At least 5 years of direct P&L responsibilities for in‑line commercial assets in the EU and UK for a pharmaceutical manufacturer.
  • Demonstrated record of success in driving new and established product sales, with strong background in marketing, pricing, reimbursement, and brand value proposition development.
  • Financial acumen and the ability to manage program P&L.
  • Proven leadership and influencing ability within a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the European pharmaceutical industry, healthcare system trends, and customer insights; ability to translate competitive intelligence into actionable plans.
  • European launch experience across multiple therapeutic areas; global launch experience is a plus.
  • Strategic and tactical planning, execution, and business acumen.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong self‑awareness, emotional intelligence, and leadership attributes to drive change.
  • Ability to work in a comparable time zone to the client and key partners.
  • Experience leveraging offshore and nearshore resources.
  • Eligibility to travel as needed.
