Mrs Salisbury’s is a much-loved, award-winning tearoom brand known for its warm hospitality, and a passion for quality. Our Wickham Bishops location is a thriving community hub with a loyal customer base — and we’re looking for a dynamic, hands‑on General Manager to lead the team and continue to grow our reputation for exceptional service.

About the Role

As General Manager, you will be the driving force behind daily operations, staff leadership, customer experience, and business performance. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to maintain high standards, introduce fresh ideas, and ensure the tearoom continues to flourish. In 2026 we have plans to expand the business, increase seating areas, invest in new equipment and working spaces to facilitate opening Thursday, Friday & Saturday Evenings and Sundays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and motivate a friendly front‑of‑house team
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient service
  • Uphold brand standards for customer service, presentation, and product quality
  • Manage staffing, rota planning, recruitment, and performance reviews
  • Monitor stock levels, supplier orders, and cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Drive sales through exceptional service, local engagement, and creative ideas
  • Maintain a warm, welcoming environment for regulars and new visitors alike
About You
