Job summary

A popular garden cafe near Morpeth is seeking a team member to deliver excellent customer service while managing various cafe duties. The role requires experience in similar environments and a food hygiene certificate. You will serve customers, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area, and support a flexible rotating work schedule averaging 16 hours per week. Job description
Overview

We are looking for someone to join the team at the popular Garden Cafe at Hepscott Park near Morpeth.

Responsibilities: Serve customers, use cash register and coffee machine, clear tables, keep the kitchen area clean. Work quickly and efficiently, be a good team worker, and cope with the physical demands of a busy day. Provide good customer service and commit to training.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience working in a similar environment
  • Food hygiene certificate
  • Recognised catering qualification (advantage)
Schedule

The role averages 16 hours per week across a three‑week rotating shift pattern, including a mix of weekdays and two Saturdays in every three weeks.
