A supportive educational institution in Bournemouth is seeking a Learning Coach – Functional Skills Tutor. You will contribute to the personal development of students and deliver functional skills in English, Maths, and Science. The ideal candidate is caring, positive, and has a passion for supporting vulnerable students. 37.5 hours a week, Term Time only plus inset days (39 working weeks, plus pro rata holiday allowance of 5.67 weeks)
Monday to Friday (8.30am to 4.30pm)
Start Date: ASAP depending on pre-employment checks

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the personal development of students as part of our Learning Coach Team. You will work within Avonbourne Academies under the general direction of the SENDCo who is responsible for the overall policy of the specialist educational programme for students with SEN needs. As part of this role, you will deliver functional skills in English, Maths and Science from Entry Level to Level 1 & Level 2, to students who may struggle with the GCSE pathway.
