The Opportunity

Join as a founding engineer to build and enhance our marketplace platform. You’ll work across the entire stack—from user-facing interfaces to backend systems—creating features that streamline procurement for busy healthcare professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and enhance WordPress/WooCommerce-based marketplace platform
• Build custom features for quote requests, supplier matching, and order management
• Integrate AI capabilities (visual search, price optimization) into user workflows
• Create admin dashboards for analytics, compliance tracking, and supplier management
• Implement secure payment systems and escrow functionality
• Develop API integrations with third-party services (payment, compliance verification)
• Optimize platform performance and user experience
• Collaborate with CTO on architecture and technical decisions

What You Bring

• 3+ years full-stack development experience
• Strong PHP skills with WordPress/WooCommerce development experience
• Frontend proficiency with JavaScript, React, or modern frameworks
• Database design and optimization (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• RESTful API design and integration experience
• Understanding of secure coding practices and GDPR compliance
• Ability to work autonomously and make pragmatic technical decisions

Ideal Background

• E-commerce or marketplace platform development
• Experience with payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal)
• B2B platform or enterprise software experience
• Familiarity with YITH or similar WooCommerce plugins
