Job summary

A resource recovery company in Sheffield is seeking a Transport Manager to oversee compliance with DVSA regulations and manage workshop technicians. You will ensure that all vehicles are maintained to high standards, monitor driver compliance with EU rules, and report on vehicle and driver performance to the UK Fleet Manager. This role requires strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of DVSA regulations and operational compliance.
• Proven experience managing vehicle maintenance and driver compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for effective management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DVSA regulations and the Vehicle Operators Licence.
• Monitor and manage EU Driver hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Provide monthly governance reports on driver and vehicle maintenance compliance.
