Job summary

A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking a qualified individual for the repair and service of blower and pump systems in Greater London. This fully site-based role requires mechanical skills and attention to detail. You will be responsible for disassembling, assessing, and reassembling systems. A recognized apprenticeship or vocational training is necessary, along with the ability to lift up to 25Kg. At Industrial Blower Services, we have provided air and gas moving solutions to our customers for over 3 decades. We were the UK’s largest independent blower specialist company before being acquired by Ingersoll Rand in 2021. We have ambitions and backing to grow significantly in the next few years and we need your help to achieve this.

Job Summary

In this role you will be responsible for the repair and service of a variety of blower and pump systems. A good working knowledge in the usage of metrology equipment and machine drawings is vital to the role.

Responsibilities

• Disassembly, assessment and reassembly for repair of blower vacuum pumps and rotary valves.
• Making accurate measurement readings, replacing key components and reassembling products from notes made during initial inspection
• Completing maintenance records and reports accurately both on paper and with a tablet

Basic Qualifications

• Recognised apprentice or vocational training qualification
• Experience of working with machine tools and/or mechanical assemblies
• Working knowledge of safety protocols
