We are looking for an apprentice who ideally lives in Taunton or within a 30 minute commute as you will be buddied up with an engineer who is based here. Having a driver’s licence is desirable but not essential if the apprentice lives near to Taunton initially as apprentices will be working alongside other Engineers. However, we will expect apprentices to pass their driving test at the earliest opportunity as a company vehicle will be provided later on in the programme. If applicants have their own vehicle, mileage allowance can be claimed for travel; alternatively public transport reimbursement is available. You MUST be prepared to commit to your work and training for the duration of the apprenticeship.
