Job Purpose

Manage the consolidation & reporting of the Group results internally and to Parent Company (KHK). Manage certain day-to-day financial operations of the UK businesses.

Responsibilities
  • Input and analyse financial transaction data:
    • Check and input incoming invoices
    • Ensure invoices are properly authorised and coded
    • Query any discrepancies
    • Prepare accruals
    • Maintain files and records
  • Perform Bank / Cashbook input and reconciliation:
    • Pay suppliers and send remittances
    • Ensure all bank account movements are entered accurately and reconciled timeously
  • Produce month end working papers file:
    • Fixed Assets, enter new assets depreciate and reconcile
    • Sales Ledger reconciliation
    • Pre-Payments, release entries and reconcile
    • Purchase Ledger reconciliationIntercompany reconciliation and agree to all other subsidiaries
  • Assist with the production of periodic reporting and analysis
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested
Qualifications
  • Experience using Finance Software package desirable not essential
  • Microsoft Excel / Word working knowledge required
  • Basic accounts knowledge useful
  • Good administrative, organisational and communication skills
  • Flexibility in working patterns to address peak time demands, to achieve Japanese and affiliate) communications
