Job description

Are you looking for your next opportunity within the Finance world? If so, we have the job for you! We are working with a well-established company in Great Blakenham to find the next member of their finance department to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Job Duties:

  1. Managing the Purchase Ledger Inbox
  2. Processing incoming invoices and raising POs as required
  3. Handling supplier queries
  4. Arranging weekly and monthly payment runs to ensure timely settlement
  5. Scanning incoming post
  6. Updating and working with the finance system as needed

You will work directly with the management accountant, gaining exposure to more complex accounting functions. The team comprises two other finance assistants and a finance manager.

What we’re looking for:

Applicants should have previous experience in a similar finance role, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and preferably a finance qualification or ongoing studies such as AAT. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and accounting software like Sage or Xero is essential. The ability to work well independently and as part of a team is also required.
