About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the fee collection and income management of student tuition, accommodation fees, and departmental income, ensuring timely and accurate fee recovery. You will work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality financial administration and customer service, providing advice and guidance to students, staff, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include managing daily financial reports, following up on outstanding debts, resolving customer queries, and supporting bursary and scholarship approvals. This role also involves maintaining accurate financial records using the University’s financial systems and databases. Working closely with a team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and play a key role in the University's income management operations.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to be educated to A-level standard or have relevant experience in a similar setting. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and effective communication abilities, both written and verbal. Previous experience in customer service and finance administration is essential, and knowledge of using finance systems such as SAP or student records databases would be an advantage.
