Job summary

A leading infrastructure engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Mobile Plant & Vehicle Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile plant equipment across various sites. This role offers fieldwork independence with strong support from an office and workshop team. The ideal candidate must have a trade qualification and proven experience with mobile equipment. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and liaising with clients. This position ensures minimal downtime and delivers high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with mobile plant equipment.
• Current Driver’s License (HR/MR license desirable).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on plant equipment.
• Conduct safety inspections and complete service reports.
• Liaise with clients and site supervisors to ensure minimal downtime.
