Start date: 12th January 2026

Location: Within a 90‑minute travel radius of your home (applicants must reside within Rochdale).

Salary: £27,965 per annum + £4,200 car allowance + uncapped monthly bonus. Earnings potential: Up to £35,765 per year (inclusive of car allowance).

Hours: Flexible, 40 hours per week (including peak shifts). No warrant work involved.

About The Role

As a Field Collections Agent, you'll be the friendly face of Orbit, meeting customers at their homes to help them find a way forward with their finances. You’ll offer empathy, guidance, and practical solutions that make a real difference.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Visit customers to resolve outstanding arrears and discuss payment options.
• Handle accounts for both regulated and non‑regulated clients, including reconnection visits.
• Accept payments, set up repayment plans, and re‑engage customers with client services.
• Educate customers about the potential consequences of non‑payment.
• Use an Orbit‑supplied iPad to update account outcomes in real time.

Candidates who have previously been successful in this role have come from a background in Sales, Military, or Police.

Working Hours

We offer a 40‑hour work week with a supportive approach to work‑life balance. Your visits will be scheduled across the following operating window: Monday–Friday between 8 a.m.–8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m.–1 p.m. A total of 10 of the 40 hours must be worked during prime hours (4 p.m.–8 p.m. Monday and Saturday 9 a.m.–1 p.m.).
