A leading complex care provider in Bristol is seeking a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant. In this role, you will deliver safe and outstanding care for a young boy with complex health needs. Qualifications

  • At least 12 months of UK care experience including Bipap machine.
  • Experience with complex needs in a homecare setting would be advantageous.
  • Hold an understanding of safeguarding.

Your Role

As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant for Innovate Care Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care of a young boy that has global developmental delay. Part of his care overnight would include:

  • Peg feeding and medication
  • Cpap, repositioning
  • Hoisting and personal care.

You’ll be part of a consistent care team, typically supporting one client at a time in this stable, long-term role.

What We’re Looking For
  • At least 12 months of UK care experience including Bipap machine
  • Experience with complex needs in a homecare setting would be advantageous

  • Good communication skills and IT confidence
  • Car driver with access to your own vehicle
  • Willingness to be part of a family-centred care team
  • Hold an understanding of safeguarding
  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
