A leading health and social care charity in Kendal seeks an Advanced Support Worker to support a lady in her home and community. The role involves providing compassionate care, assisting with communication using alternative methods, and fostering independence. Applicants should have a Level 3 qualification in Social Care or relevant experience, alongside a passion for helping individuals live fulfilling lives. Training in Positive Behaviour Support and Makaton is provided. Flexible hours are available for dedicated workers.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Advanced Support Worker to join our team in Kendal, supporting a lady in her home and community. She lives independently in a downstairs flat and requires 24‑hour support to live a fulfilling and empowered life.
Patience, understanding, and the ability to support when fixated or frustrated.
We’ll support your growth with specialist training in:
