A leading home design company in the UK is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee two warehouse sites and retail stores. The role involves hands-on maintenance, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Candidates should have proven facilities management experience, strong knowledge of building services, and the ability to communicate effectively. This position offers a competitive salary and numerous benefits, including generous leave and training opportunities.
At Neptune, we care deeply about the spaces we create for our people. As Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you'll ensure our Support Office, warehouses and retail stores are safe, well‑maintained and running smoothly. This is a hands‑on role, balancing planned maintenance with day‑to‑day problem solving, while leading a small team and trusted contractors across multiple sites.
You'll be someone with proven experience managing facilities or maintenance across multiple sites and have a strong knowledge of building services, property maintenance and health & safety compliance. Essentially, you'll hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent. It's important that you are a confident communicator with excellent organisation and planning skills and have experience leading teams and managing contractors. This role will also involve travel to our other site in Swindon and across our stores, so you must hold a full UK driving licence and have a willingness to travel.
At Neptune, we take pride in doing things properly – thoughtfully, carefully and with long‑term impact in mind. You'll be part of a supportive team where your contribution really matters, helping to create safe, well‑run spaces in which our people can do their very best work.
Across all locations, we stay united by our company values: Do The Right Thing, Do It Together, Aim High and Keep It Real.
We are a growing business that encourages our people to grow with us. Neptune’s goal is to ensure we have a diverse and inclusive work environment, where all of our employees have equal access to opportunities and everyone's voices are heard.
Founded in 1996 by friends John Sims‑Hilditch and Giles Redman, Neptune designs and makes pieces for your whole home. Recognised for our exacting standards, design‑led aesthetic and expert craftsmanship, we are perhaps most known for kitchens – with heirloom‑worthy dressers not far behind. Neptune’s trademark "look" is British: refined, simple, sturdy, and with an almost obsessive attention to detail. We are also respected for our commitment to craft and quality. Put simply, we make things we're proud of, and that last a lifetime.
