A leading maintenance service provider in London is looking for an experienced individual to deliver high-quality fabric maintenance and repair services. Responsibilities include carrying out a variety of tasks, ensuring safety and compliance, and providing excellent customer care. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of practical experience and relevant qualifications, such as working at height certification and IPAF/PASMA certification.
Main Purpose of Job: To deliver high-quality fabric maintenance, repair, and installation services while ensuring safety, compliance, and excellent customer care.
Carry out a wide range of fabric maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering, flooring, glazing, fencing, brickwork).
Complete installations and inspections as required.
Fault find and rectify issues across fabric-related works.
Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers.
Communicate clearly with customers, line management, and office support staff.
Provide courteous and professional service to uphold the company’s reputation.
Demonstrate commitment to customer care at all times.
Fire door repairs and inspections.
Plasterboard and sanitary ware repairs.
Lock fitting and repairs.
Building and repairing furniture.
Guttering maintenance and repairs.
Safe use of plant and equipment.
Work at height, including use of access equipment (IPAF/PASMA desirable).
Comply with company policies and safety rules.
Maintain records of completed works as required.
Ensure company vehicle is driven responsibly and in line with the Highway Code.
Cooperate with line managers and comply with statutory provisions or site rules.
Relevant industry qualifications (apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent training programme).
Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Working at height certification.
IPAF / PASMA certification.
Additional specialist fabric maintenance skills beyond core requirements.
