A rural primary school is seeking a full-time teacher for a Mixed EYFS and Key Stage 1 class from September 2025. The role requires a strong understanding of early education, creativity in teaching, and a commitment to upholding the school's Christian values. Candidates can be ECTs or experienced teachers, with support and mentoring provided. Applications are encouraged and must be submitted by May 14, 2025.

Selside CE Primary School is a fantastic small rural primary and nursery school nestled in the hills just north of Kendal. We have happy, well-behaved children who love coming to school and are keen to learn, along with a dedicated staff team. Our creative curriculum also has a strong emphasis on basic skills and high achievement for all our pupils. Our Christian ethos and values permeate the way the children interact with each other and with adults within the school.

ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply. If you are an ECT, you will have the required allocated release time, be supported by an experienced mentor and have a supportive team across the school to allow you to start your teaching journey feeling confident.
