Main Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Production Planner to join our dynamic operations team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating production schedules, managing material flow, and ensuring on-time delivery across a dynamic, fast-paced multi-site textile operation. You’ll play a critical role in streamlining production schedules, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to meet our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust production schedules to align with demand forecasts and capacity constraints
  • Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability
  • Anticipate potential delays and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Perform capacity planning and recommend adjustments to meet changing priorities
  • Maintain up-to-date production records, reports, and KPIs for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support new product launches and process transitionsImplement and refine planning tools or ERP systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Identify and drive initiatives to reduce lead times and improve workflow efficiency
Experience & Skills
  • Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing or industrial setting (typically 5+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory control, and MRP systems
  • Proficiency in ERP software (e.g. Netsuite, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred Attributes
  • APICS or equivalent supply chain certification
  • Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies

Familiarity with ISO and quality compliance standards
