Events Operations Supervisor – The Hoxton, Holborn, London

We are looking for an experienced Events Operations Supervisor to lead the full use of our venue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences for business and social events.

What you’ll do
  • Supervise events in the absence of the Events Operations Manager, working within the strategy and events programme set by our Sales and Meeting & Events teams.
  • Lead by example, confidently providing top Hoxton experiences for guests.
  • Liaise closely with the central Meeting and Event bookings team to ensure seamless communication and a unique experience for guests.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef, Division Managers and GM to deliver a consistently excellent standard of food and beverage to our guests.
  • Be operationally present and lead the team in key events, providing outstanding experiences for guests.
  • Provide proactive input and feedback, looking for opportunities to improve and innovate how we use the space.
  • Handle set‑up, ad‑hoc requests, invoices and feedback, ensuring internal and external customers have the best possible experience.
  • Supervise the Apartment Host, creating an environment where they feel valued and have opportunities to grow.
  • Take overall responsibility for the health & safety of anyone using the area, including yourself.
  • Provide a secure environment for customers and their property.
Qualifications
  • A track record of supervising meetings and events teams; a natural at inspiring trust and bringing others along on a journey.
  • 2+ years’ experience in hospitality or a busy, bustling environment (e.g., restaurant groups, hotels, contract events catering).
  • Exceptional attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment, juggling many things at once while ticking every box.
  • A passion for hospitality – creating memorable experiences for guests and colleagues.
  • Ownership and pride in work, a roll‑up‑your‑sleeves attitude to seeing tasks through and delivering results.
  • A willingness to try new approaches and experiment.
  • Enthusiastic, confident and warm, able to contribute to a hardworking, supportive and fun team.
  • Open, honest and strong communication skills.
  • Flexibility in your week‑to‑week rota as business demands vary.
