Overview

The role of Equine Veterinary Nurse to support the daily operation of the state-of-the-art equestrian treatment facility at Keysoe International. This role will involve delivering treatment and rehabilitation programmes assigned to each competition horse at Keysoe International. This role would suit an experienced Veterinary Nurse professional who is looking for a change in environment and working more sociable hours.


About the role


  • To follow treatment or rehab plans created by the Sports Veterinary Surgeon.

  • Communicate regularly with management over any development, changes or progress made to horses receiving treatment.


About you


  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse.

  • Capable and confident to administer medication as required.

  • Hydrotherapy experience desired but not essential.

  • Use of laser & shockwave machine experience desired but not essential.

  • Experience in handling Competition Horses.

  • Very good eye for detail, demonstrable knowledge of horse physiology and anatomy.

  • Awareness of equine disciplines and demands.

  • Strong communicator.

  • Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
