A governmental rescue service in Godmanchester is seeking a part-time Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Co‑ordinator to lead inclusive practices, implement the EDI strategy, and develop training programs. The suitable candidate will have significant experience in human resources and EDI, combined with knowledge of relevant legislation. This hybrid role allows for a flexible working pattern. Being part of Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) is more than fighting fires – it’s about making a difference through innovation and collaboration. In this role you will champion inclusive practices across the organisation, coordinate the delivery of our EDI Strategy, raise awareness of key initiatives, embed a culture of inclusion, lead Employee Inclusion Networks, guide teams through Equality Impact Assessments (EQIAs), develop engaging EDI training for managers and employees, monitor and report on progress, provide expert advice on inclusive practices, maintain EDI information on our intranet, and contribute to inclusive policy development.
Salary: £37,280 – £39,152 per annum (pro rata)
Hours: 24 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term (Two Years)
Location: Service Headquarters, Huntingdon
Working pattern: Hybrid – flexible, agile pattern that allows work from home or at CFRS and other locations around Cambridgeshire.
