Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK and Scottish environmental legislation, regulation and best practice.
• Proven ability to investigate environmental incidents and manage risks.
• Confident influencer and coach with excellent communication skills.
• Analytical problem-solver, using data to shape practical solutions.
• Knowledge of environmental permits and licences.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide environmental advice and coaching for employees and contractors.
• Maintain and improve ISO14001 Environmental Management System.
• Manage compliance with environmental legislation and permits.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, driving corrective actions.
• Conduct site inspections and analyze data for performance.
