Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Engineering Team Leader to join and engineering department in a modern, clean FMCG environment in Tewkesbury.

LOCATION: Tewkesbury Industrial Estate

PAY: £20.51-£21.51/hr +OT of x1.25

HOURS: Week 1: Mon-Sat 06:00-14:00 (6 shifts), Week 2: Mon-Fri 13:45-21:45 (5 shifts)

DURATION: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks

What You Will Be Doing
  • Support the Engineering Manager in delivering departmental goals
  • Supervise, train and mentor Engineers, utilising team skills effectively
  • Coordinate and deliver planned preventative maintenance schedules
  • Repair and test electrical and mechanical plant equipment
  • Lead effective fault finding and resolution for high-speed automated machinery
  • Assist with departmental paperwork, records and compliance requirements
  • Mentor Apprenticeship candidates as appropriate
  • Deputise for the Engineering Manager and cover for Engineers when required
  • Participate in equipment breakdown call-out rota
