A major engineering consultancy firm is seeking a Project Manager to oversee Defence projects across the UK. This role requires candidates with a strong military background and a proven track record in project management within the Defence sector. Responsibilities include improving project management processes and ensuring excellent delivery. Regular travel to sites throughout the UK will be necessary. About the business unit
The Buildings Unit (BLD) has a major presence in Mott MacDonald\'s regional offices throughout the UK and mainland Europe, providing a wide range of diverse and transferable cross-sector skills across five key Sectors; Advisory, Built Environment, Energy, Transportation and Water. We also provide local services to customers and technical leadership to the rest of the Group in these sectors.
Overview of the role
Buildings (Defence) is looking for a Project Manager to take an active lead within a growing portfolio, supporting our clients in the UK, within the Defence and Security sector. As well as contributing to these new and existing projects, this position will play an active role in improving our project management processes and approach, driving both delivery excellence and efficiency in our business.
We are specifically looking for individuals with a strong military background, who have an established defence network, and who wish to be involved in challenging, exciting and rewarding infrastructure projects.
This role will involve project coverage across the UK so regular travel to sites will be a requirement.
