About the Energy Analyst Role

Axle has quickly become the leader in our operational markets, and we’re now looking to expand internationally. Central to our market expansion is market analysis. To maximize future revenue, we model the value of flexibility in power markets worldwide. We are seeking an analytical wizard who can collaborate cross-functionally, crunch numbers, become an internal market expert, and find innovative ways to derive answers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Building models of wholesale and ancillary power markets in different countries to predict revenue.
• Developing and evaluating strategies for cycling batteries or load-shifting EV chargers across various regions.
• Understanding the intricacies of power markets, including trading, compensation, penalties, and cash flow.
• Communicating with grid operators globally to validate hypotheses and interpret data.
