As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at Breedon, you’ll work alongside our maintenance and operations teams. You’ll enjoy problem solving and will be working to identify the root cause for electrical defects and breakdowns, offering solutions to problematic equipment, aiming to resolve problems in an efficient and safe manner.
We are looking for an experienced industrial electrician to join our team based on a 48 hour contract. Overtime is available. You will mainly be working Monday to Friday and may be asked to be on call for our night shift.
You’ll support the wider Maintenance team to identify and support preventative maintenance activities at our flagship Cloud Hill Quarry based in Derbyshire.
Commutable from: Derby, Castle Donington, Kegworth, Loughborough, Burton upon Trent, Nottingham, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Tamworth, Birmingham, Nuneaton, Ashby De La Zouch, Coalville, Swadlincote.
You will be responsible for developing a preventative maintenance system and carrying out planned maintenance activities to ensure that our quarry and asphalt plant operates safely and reliably. You will play a key 'hands on' role in the planning and implementation of plant improvements and have the ability to quickly fault find, respond to any unplanned plant shutdowns and work closely with other team members and contractors as required.
Part of this role will include travelling to other Breedon sites in the Midlands area; a company van is provided.
