We are looking for an Electricity Network Manager to join our busy and supportive team.

In this role, you’ll work alongside the Network Integrity Manager to keep the region’s network running safely, efficiently and reliably. You’ll lead the planning and delivery of work linked to system faults, asset defects and other reactive jobs, making sure everything is completed safely, on time and to plan.

You’ll collaborate with technical and delivery teams to hit key performance targets like Customer Interruptions, Customer Minutes Lost and Customer Satisfaction, while using your judgement to make decisions and give advice that keeps customer service standards high.

You Will Be
  • Responsible for helping to continuously deliver safe outcomes for the workforce, customers and the environment.
  • Responsible for effective high and low voltage system fault management for a sub-regional area or a specific risk area (e.g. Automation, Unmetered Faults, Voltage Complaints, or ESQCR & public electrical safety risks).
  • Develop, coach, motivate, and empower all staff (and third-party contractors).
  • Ensure you have a team that makes commercially sound decisions, delivering a cost-effective function that is wholly compliant with the regulatory framework.
  • Undertake individual standby responsibilities and ensure team members are upholding their standby duties, including responding to system emergencies such as storms.
You Have
  • Managerial experience in an operational environment.
  • HNC/HND/Degree - Electrical Engineering or Engineering background.
  • IOSH / NEBOSH - Health and Safety Certificate.
  • Good technical understanding of LV, HV, and EHV Electrical Power Systems.
  • Held or holding operational authorisations up to 33kV SAP.
Travel & Vehicle

This role involves travel across various locations to support business needs. To enable you to fulfil these responsibilities, as a role requirement, the company will provide access to a vehicle for work-related travel.

The requirement will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and if the company car policy criteria are met, there will be an opportunity to join the company car scheme. Provision of a company car or cash allowance does not form part of the contractual terms and conditions of employment for this role.

A valid driving licence is essential.
