Qualifications

• Strong understanding and application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice.
• Experience as a Duly Authorised Officer (DAO) or willingness to complete DAO training within six months.
• Ability to engage therapeutically with tāngata whaiora and whānau.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, short-term mental health support to tāngata whaiora.
• Contribute to crisis response, acute care planning, and mental health assessments.
• Deliver home-based treatment designed to prevent hospital admission.
