Work Flexibility: Field-based## **UK & Ireland | Home-based with National Travel**You will define and execute the national strategy, accelerate profitable growth across NHS and Private markets, and lead the successful introduction of new and innovative bed technologies.This role offers a unique opportunity to shape market strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes at scale.## The RoleAs **National Sales Manager – Beds**, you will have end-to-end responsibility for national performance, acting as the strategic and clinical-commercial expert within the organisation.You will:* Own the national sales number and growth strategy for the Beds portfolio* Lead new product introductions and lifecycle management* Serve as the UK & Ireland subject-matter expert for Beds* Influence and align senior internal and external stakeholders* Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and European leadership teamsThis is a **home-based role** requiring **regular national travel**, overnight stays, routine visits to the **Newbury head office**, and **occasional international travel**.## Key Responsibilities### Strategic & Commercial Leadership* Deliver national sales targets and expand market share across NHS and Private sectors* Define and execute a **clear, segmented short-, medium-, and long-term growth strategy** for the UK & Ireland Beds business* Lead forecasting, demand planning, and revenue projections* Develop and execute competitive strategies against key market players* Build contingency plans to mitigate supply chain and operational risk### Market Development & Execution* Lead strategy, segmentation, and execution of new product launches, including **Proceed*** Drive framework inclusion and tender success in collaboration with regional sales teams* Oversee local go-to-market processes and loan kit optimisation* Create, monitor, and evolve lead-generation and pipeline strategies (NEXUS)### Stakeholder & KOL Engagement* Build, develop, and sustain senior **Key Opinion Leader** partnerships in collaboration with Clinical teams* Represent Stryker at national congresses, educational events, and industry forums* Act as a trusted advisor to customers, procurement stakeholders, and clinical leaders### Leadership, Enablement & Collaboration* Upskill and enable the sales organisation through structured education and coaching programmes* Act as a Stryker product advocate, strengthening collaboration across divisions where appropriate* Partner with UK and European Marketing to shape strategy and high-impact marketing collateral### Insight, Innovation & Continuous Improvement* Gather and translate market intelligence into actionable insights* Identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and future growth opportunities* Champion innovative engagement models, including virtual education and modern communication platforms## What You Will Bring### Experience* Proven track record of delivering national or regional growth targets* Experience in capital equipment or hospital environments* Demonstrated success influencing senior clinical, procurement, and executive stakeholders### Capabilities* Strategic, analytical, and commercially astute* Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills* Effective negotiator with the ability to influence without authority* Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable managing complexity* Able to lead through ambiguity and drive change**2026 Key Objectives*** Define and deliver a segmented UK growth plan for the Beds portfolio* Design and implement a national education programme to elevate sales capability* Identify and develop medium and large strategic opportunities by territory* Deliver a successful national launch of **Proceed*** Achieve and exceed defined national sales targets## What We OfferAt Stryker, you’ll find more than a job — you’ll find a career with purpose.We offer:* Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus and incentives* Private healthcare, wellbeing initiatives, and family-friendly benefits* Recognition and performance awards* Company car or car allowance* Mobile phone, iPad, and laptop* Opportunities for career development within a global organisation## About StrykerStryker is one of the world’s leading medical technology companies.
