A leading community pharmacy chain is looking for a Relief Accuracy Checking Technician in Northampton. The role involves assisting the Pharmacist with daily dispensary operations, managing stock, and providing customer service. Candidates must have an Accuracy Checking Qualification and NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services. Your main responsibilities as Accuracy Checking Technician will be assist the Pharmacist in managing the day to day running of dispensary by allocating work to Dispensing Technician and Dispensing Assistant’s to ensure the efficient and safe running of the dispensary, managing stock levels and be another expert for our customers to talk to, providing healthcare advice and services at the counter. You’ll also assist with sales and general store duties including product displays and cash transactions. As every day is different, you could find yourself getting involved with everything from acting as the first point of contact for customers, managing high volume dispensing transactions for local care homes to dealing with operational queries from GP surgeries.
As a Relief Accuracy Checking Technician, you will beresponsible for covering absence and holidays in surrounding Well Pharmacies. You will be working within multiple teams across a number of Community Pharmacies as this role provides crucial support and ensures we provide the best patient and customer service.
You should also have Accuracy Checking Qualification and NVQ/QCF Level 3 equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services and GPhC registration.
All successful applicants to this role are required to have an up to date DBS/PVG before their start dates. If you are not on the Automatic Update Service, we will apply for a DBS/PVG for you.
