A children's educational service in Sunderland is seeking an Educational Psychologist. This role focuses on improving educational achievement and emotional well-being in children, using a child-centred, evidence-based approach. Applicants should hold a postgraduate degree in Educational Psychology and share a commitment to inclusion and community diversity. This position offers flexibility and ongoing professional development in a supportive environment.

Soulbury Scale A Points 3-8 + up to 3 SPAs
£46,525 to £56,540 extending up to £61,848 per annum
37 hours per week (flexible patterns will be considered)

You will join a small, passionate and committed team that advocates effective child‑centred, evidence‑based practices. As an Educational Psychologist you will play a crucial role in delivering our statutory responsibilities, as well as our established and well‑received traded service offer to schools. You will provide purposeful assessment linked to educational psychological principles and research. You are encouraged to incorporate early intervention strategies and systemic consultative approaches, psychometric investigation and therapeutic techniques.

We want you to apply if: Hold a Post Graduate Degree in Educational Psychology and hold (or are working towards completion) a postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology.
