Marley in Keele is a specialist manufacturer of clay roof tiles and a division of Marshalls plc, the UK's leading hard landscaping, building, and roofing products supplier.
Working as part of our Maintenance Engineering team, responsibilities will be to ensure the kiln carts (and their refractory brick linings) used across the site to transport clay tiles during the drying / curing process are maintained to the highest standard. The condition of these is fundamental to the efficiency of the manufacturing process and is key to ensuring we meet our production targets whilst minimising losses. In addition the kiln carts, you will be required to support with any site maintenance projects that need the skills of an experienced bricklayer (damaged walls or buildings for example).
