Job summary

A professional services firm is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Company Secretarial Department. This full-time role, located in either Bristol, London, or Reading, involves delivering compliance services to a portfolio of approximately 300 UK entities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in company secretarial transactions, a strong understanding of the Companies Act 2006, and excellent communication skills. Qualifications

  • At least five years’ experience in the company secretarial field.
  • Strong track record of delivering high-quality services across diverse UK entities.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislation with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver company secretarial compliance services for 300 UK entities.
  • Prepare accurate documentation per Companies Act 2006.
  • Build strong client relationships and enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and foster positive team culture.

Skills

Proven experience in company secretarial transactions
Experience with company secretarial software
Strong knowledge of the Companies Act 2006
Excellent organizational skills
Proactive and self-motivated
Strong communication skills in English
Digital literacy with Microsoft Office
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Team player

Education

Educated to degree level
CGI qualified or part qualified
