A local educational institution is seeking a Full Time Permanent SEND HLTA to support students with special educational needs at Whitmore Park Primary School in Coventry. The role involves working under the guidance of teachers to enhance educational outcomes and ensure proper safeguarding practices are followed. Successful candidates will have a passion for education, experience with diverse student needs, and a commitment to child welfare. Applications are accepted via email, post, or in-person.

We are looking to appoint a person who will share our vision for high quality education for all our children and also shows enthusiasm and motivation to:
Work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff and the Special Educational Needs Leader (SENDCO) to:
Help improve educational and social inclusion opportunities and outcomes for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
To work under the instruction/guidance of teaching, senior staff and SENDCO to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to support pupils in our SENDprovision room as well as in and outside of the classroom.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS is needed for this post. Two references will be taken up for all short-listed candidates prior to interview or appointment.
Hours: 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week), term time only, 39 weeks to include training/inset days.
