Job summary

An international insurance provider in Greater London is seeking a PMO Manager to establish and manage their Portfolio Management Office. This role involves overseeing change portfolio controls, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to high standards, and developing stakeholder relationships for effective strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, expertise in both agile and waterfall methodologies, and a strong background in insurance processes. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a PMO Manager/Lead role within Financial Services.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies and reporting tools.
  • Awareness of specialty insurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the PMO in International and support the Head of Change Delivery.
  • Implement processes and governance for project delivery.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders for strategic planning support.
  • Prepare portfolio-level status reporting with clarity.

Skills

Project management methodologies (agile and waterfall)
Experience leading or mentoring PMO team members
Ability to translate technical information into understandable language
Expert in reporting and management tools
Experience in the specialty insurance sector

Education

PMO/PMP/PRINCE2 certification
