A global environmental non-profit is seeking a Senior Technical Officer to enhance its disclosure framework focused on the Financial Services sector. This role involves developing technical documentation, analyzing data, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote corporate environmental action. Candidates must have a relevant academic qualification, experience in environmental issues, and strong analytical skills. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days in the London office weekly, with a salary range of £32,157 to £40,197.

Disclosure Content is responsible for the strategic development, maintenance, and delivery of CDP’s disclosure framework (question bank, reporting guidance, and scoring). The disclosure framework provides environmental information to investors, customers, and other data users, and drives companies’ actions to transition to a sustainable economy. Within Disclosure Content, the Strategic Evolution team develops CDP’s disclosure framework in response to strategic projects, standard and framework alignment, and other evolving needs. We work closely with other teams and functions across CDP to implement environmental reporting best practices and pioneer new areas of environmental disclosure.
This role will provide technical, scientific, and analytical expertise to develop and ensure the high quality of CDP’s disclosure framework, to drive corporate environmental disclosure and action, with a focus on the Financial Services sector. This includes the CDP question bank, reporting guidance, scoring methodologies and resulting data.

Salary banding for this role is £32,157- £40,197. This is a hybrid role; candidates will need to live within a commutable distance of the London office and be comfortable with 2 days in the office per week.
