Responsibilities
- Lead the overall delivery of the service through the management of the team and liaison with the Area Service Manager
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners, key stakeholders and external agencies
- Oversee the overall delivery of the service
- Work closely with internal and external partners to achieve KPI’s
- Oversee the service’s financial performance and manage the budget
- Manage recruitment, performance and development of staff
- Be flexible around working hours to meet the needs of the service
- Take responsibility for health and safety in the service
Skills and experience
- Experience in a managerial role within a similar service with strong interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Compassionate, caring, and hands-on in supporting others
- Experience supporting service users in a personalised way to maximise opportunities for personal development
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with statutory and voluntary partners
- Travel is required; a full valid driving licence is essential
