Job Summary

We are looking for a permanent full‑time Education Safeguarding Assistant to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Brighton and Hove Education Safeguarding Officer. You will assist in the delivery of a high‑quality service as part of a multi‑agency safeguarding partnership.

Working Hours
  • 37 hours per week for 45 weeks of the year (term time only)
  • 32 hours per week for 52 weeks of the year (0.87 FTE)
  • Paid weeks per year: 45.05 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Job Introduction

As an Education Safeguarding Assistant, you will be responding to Front Door for Families (FDFF) educational welfare checks and recording them for the multi‑agency professionals to RAG and consider.

You will also provide administrative support for the coordination of safeguarding audits; training; the dissemination of safeguarding information to schools and the dissemination of information from the BHSCP to schools and colleges.

Additional Information

Your starting salary will be pro‑rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term‑time only.

These would be part of your individual working arrangements alongside any personal preference agreed with your manager in advance of joining.
