The successful candidate would be using a variety of mediums to directly support pupils as well as offering advice and support to parents, delivering training to teaching and support staff, liaising with staff from partner agencies and contributing to review / planning meetings. They will also liaise with staff from Secondary establishments at transition points.Other remits: The teacher will be part of the extended community team comprising Early Years Specialist Support teachers, Primary and Secondary Specialist Support Teachers and EAL teachers. This team is line managed by the Senior Manager Pupil Support. The successful candidate must have a breadth of teaching experience across all stages in the primary as well as a keen interest in / knowledge of secondary.
