Role: Head of Engineering

Ross Kaneis seeking to appoint a head of engineering for an exciting scaleup.

Requirements

• 9+ years backend engineering with 6+ years in leadership roles
• Lead over 20 backend engineers including devops
• Extensive mentoring experience
• A good understanding of architecture patterns
• Expertise with AWS eco-system
• IAM and Networking knowledge including VPC, subnets, and gateways
• Tech Stack: Dynamo DB or similar, Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Go, Python, Linux CLI, Redis, Elastic
• Mobile - IOS/Android will be considered favourable
• Implementing best practises in operational management to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to refine processes and enhance overall performance.
