Qualifications

• Relevant experience or qualification equivalent to a minimum HND / SCQF Level 8-10.
• Technical knowledge/experience of enforcement and/or environmental regulation.
• Ability to provide advice and guide others on the resolution of issues.
• Proven problem-solving capability.
• Ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compliance monitoring and enforcement of reservoirs under the Reservoirs (Scotland) Act 2011.
• Continue the momentum of the enforcement campaign for compliance and safety.
• Provide advice, support, and guidance to reservoir managers and engineers.
• Contribute to SEPA’s transformational change to improve productivity.

• Deliver compliance monitoring and enforcement of a third of the 693 reservoirs under the Reservoirs (Scotland) Act 2011 to ensure safety downstream of the sites
• Continue the momentum of the enforcement campaign to drive up compliance and reservoir safety
• Provide advice, support and guidance to reservoir managers and engineers
• Contribute to SEPA’s transformational change to improve productivity
