A leading food company in Spalding is looking for passionate candidates for their Quality Assurance Technical Degree Apprenticeship. Over a 4-year program in partnership with Nottingham Trent University, you will work towards a Level 6 Food Industry Technical Professional Degree, gaining hands-on experience and academic knowledge. Delivered in partnership withNottingham Trent University, you will work towardsLevel 6Food Industry Technical Professional Degree apprenticeshipand finish the programme witha BSc (Hons) in Food Science & Technology.
This programme combines on-the-job experience with academic learning, aligning your studies to real work projects. You’ll gain exposure, experience, and education to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to become an integral part of our site Technical team and kickstart your career in food.
Upon completion, you will transition into aTechnical Management rolethat supports your future career goals.You will learn about food chemistry, sustainable food production, raw materials, microbiology of food and how to apply this knowledge to your day job.

We’re looking for our next generation of passionateFood Technical Apprenticesto develop and grow a career with us. Based at ourSpaldingsite, you will provide technical support while developing your skills in key aspects of the Technical function.
Our operation runs 24/7, so you’ll need to be flexible with shifts, which may include early starts from 5am, rotating night shifts, and weekends. As part of the apprenticeship, you’ll also be required to travel to Nottingham Trent University’s Brackenhurst Campus for study blocks and development events, and may visit other Greencore sites.
For this reason, holding a full driving licence would be advantageous.
We welcome applications from all candidates, regardless of nationality or background. However, applicants must have (or be able to obtain) the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme, as we do not offer visa sponsorship.
Applications are due to close on Wednesday th Feb, however if there are high volumes of applications, we may close early.
Upon successful telephone screening, you will be invited to virtual Assessment Centre which will take place between Tuesday 17 March - Wednesday 18 March 2026.
The 2nd stage, face to face assessment will take place at one of our Greencore sites, between Tuesday 14 April and Thursday 16 April 2026.
Induction and enrolment for this role and the apprenticeship will take place at the end of August and the duration of September.
