A leading leisure service provider in Lewisham is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. This role requires a can-do attitude, knowledge of Health and Safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a busy environment. As a Cleaning Assistant, you’ll be enthusiastic and hard-working with a real attention to detail as you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the centre. Our leisure centres can be very busy, so you’ll need to thrive in this setting. Adhering to Health and Safety requirements and regulations is crucial, so you’ll need to be hard-working and conscientious to carry out all duties to meet our high customer care standard. Ideally, you’ll have experience of cleaning in a busy working environment with good customer care skills and knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health). If you don’t yet have it, we’ll provide full training on how to use appropriate machinery and chemicals.
Day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the centre.
Adhering to Health and Safety requirements and regulations.
Clean, restock, and supply designated areas.
Complete deep cleaning as required and scheduled.
Conduct area checks.
Perform stock checks and maintain supply rooms.
A can‑do attitude.
Knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
Conscientious and committed attitude.
Ability to carry out all duties to meet our high customer care standard.
Be a great team player.
Ability to multitask between busy areas of the centre based on customer feedback.
