Job summary

A leading technology firm is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their Web Operations team in Plymouth. The successful candidate will provide technical engineering support for production systems and work closely with Agile teams to deliver new services. Candidates should have experience with Linux and programming languages like Ruby or Python, along with strong DevOps knowledge. Qualifications

• Qualification in IT or a related area (Degree level or equivalent) or relevant IT experience.
• Experience supporting Linux operating systems and container workloads.
• Experience with programming languages such as Ruby, Java, Python, JavaScript or Go.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including Continuous Integration and version control.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering capability for the Web Operations team.
• Engage with and support Junior DevOps Engineers.
• Lead technical consolidation and improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Agile development teams to align delivery.
