Job summary

A global environmental solutions company is seeking a Laboratory Equipment Technician in Loughborough to manage routine calibration of laboratory instruments and ensure quality compliance. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with electronic and mechanical instruments, a relevant educational background, and strong problem-solving skills. Qualifications

  • Experience in managing routine calibration activities and scientific test equipment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of calibration status.
  • Experience in processing equipment requests and managing repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate routine calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Maintain and update calibration schedules and manage logistics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve calibration processes.

Skills

Practical experience with electronic and mechanical instruments

Education

A-Level, NVQ, HNC or equivalent in a scientific, mathematical, or engineering subject
BSc desirable
