A local transport service provider is seeking a Passenger Assistant in Norwich to support vulnerable children and adults during their journeys. This casual position involves working with a Minibus Driver to provide care tailored to clients' needs. Norse Transport Division are currently seeking an experienced Passenger Assistant to work in at our depot based in Norwich. You will work alongside the Minibus Driver to transport our vulnerable children and adults to and from their destinations, supporting their wellbeing, providing a caring tailored service and ensuring a successful journey. We require Casual Passenger Assistants to cover staff sickness and absences.
As the Passenger Assistant you will be responsible for playing a vital role in supporting our vulnerable children and adults in their journey. This is an essential service we operate across Norfolk. You will have hands on experience building relationships with our clients providing a caring tailored service to the local community. This is a physical role as you will often be required to lift wheelchairs and use ratchet straps to secure items in the minibus.
This position is being offered on a casual basis, shifts will be between Monday and Friday and will include a Morning and Afternoon shift each working day, in line with School drop off and pick up times.
